Our easiest trip, the combination of the most gracious hospitality in Asia, superb food, friendly, fun people, clean, pleasant accommodation, good roads, easy access to the birds and mostly roadside birding make this tour a real pleasure. For a small country, bird life is prolific with over 900 species recorded. We should see around 375 species, including: a falconet, green pigeons, parakeets, malkohas, trogons, kingfishers, bee-eaters, rollers, hornbills, barbets, broadbills, pittas, cuckooshrikes, minivets, bulbuls, leafbirds, babblers, laughingthrushes, flowerpeckers, sunbirds, white-eyes, etc. We'll be there during the dry, cooler, winter months when the Palearctic migrants are present. You'll find this a wonderful birding experience. Spoon-billed Sandpiper is possible. There are some nice alternate activities for your non-birding spouse. Leader: Phil Round.
